It Started With Her
Before this was a business, before it was a movement, before I ever called myself a coach—I was a granddaughter sitting on my grandmother’s front porch, listening to a woman who had carried the weight of the world for everyone else.
She was faithful. Fierce. Loyal. Soft-spoken. She never missed a meal, a phone call, or a prayer. But she spent most of her life surviving. She raised children, kept the house running, and held the family together—even when no one was holding her.
Before she passed, she told me, “You need to write a book about my life.” About our family and about hes and bout mine.
That one sentence cracked me wide open. Because in that moment, she handed me her unfinished legacy and said:
“Tell the truth. Say what I never said. Go live the story I never got to.”I promised her I would. And everything you see here—every post, every plan, every Escape—is my way of keeping that promise.
My Story: From Survival to Strategy
a little bit about me
I didn’t grow up thinking I’d be a business owner. I wasn’t “born an entrepreneur.” I was a mom of three, in a marriage I couldn’t fix, with an ex-husband in and out of jail. I was alone, broke, and fighting to keep the lights on.
I did everything—cleaned houses, flipped items online, did odd jobs, scraped together enough to survive another month. I was exhausted and scared, but I never gave up.
I raised babies alone. I built while they slept. I cried while I worked. And I taught myself everything I know.

I’m a college drop-out who taught herself backend systems, design, websites, funnels, and strategy—one late night at a time. I took every freelance job I could, worked behind the scenes of multi-million-dollar companies, and learned what no one teaches: how to
actually run a business.I remarried. I became a mom of five. And through all the chaos, I built something that finally felt like mine.
Now, I help women like you cut through the fluff, get real about what’s holding them back, and build a business that aligns with their purpose.
